OT: Spencer
Regie: Pablo Larraín
Mit: Kristen Stewart, Timothy Spall, Sally Hawkins

Why did we watch this? Honestly, I’m not even sure. Probably because we decided to be cultured and watch an award winning movie. Yeah … I do absolutely get, why this movie got Kirsten Steward nominated for an Oscar – she is amazing. The rest of the movie? Not so much.

Came for the corgis, stayed because I was too lazy to move.

My brother, corgi-lover

I mean, there isn’t really anything to the movie apart from Kirsten Steward’s performance. Story, plot, something? Meh. The whole thing came out of nowhere, ends in the middle of nowhere and felt like it was completely irrelevant. A lot might have been because we don’t have any kind of connection to all things Lady D but really? That movie was boring and confusing and not something I particularly enjoyed, even though Kirsten Steward managed to shine despite the weirdness of it all.
